I'm 6'5" ~280 pounds. The SS looks small on me But, is still a fun ride.

For instance, I consider 25k fair mileage for an almost decade old bike (2500/year isn't much), but there are many others available with much less, and most people consider that more valuable.

    Considering the good:
    '09 is the Thunderstorm engine
Ss is nice if you're a bigger rider
99% stock like yours means I don't have to un-do a Youtubers trial and error 'mods'
The extra tire (as long as it hasn't been sitting in the garage for years)

    The Bad:
Needs repair. A fork seal job ($400-600) is daunting for most people.
Gotta swap on a new rear tire.
    Been down.
Niche bike. Dude, can you still get parts?
Time of year. You think about riding when it's cold and foggy in the SF bay?

I'd throw it on CL for $3000-3500 and be willing to take $2000 after it sits there for a month. Actually, I'd keep it and make time to ride it more, they're awesome!

    In My Opinion...
Thanks for the analysis! This seems right. I'd still try sell the bike here on the forums first though.

Yep, it's official, I've decided to sell in it's current condition. (with bad fork seal, and spare rear tire (190 width 2CT ))

Na, I meant a fat fatty fat fat like that guy from NJ

JK NJ haha. I'm 18.8 hands tall, so I ride around looking like a monkey humping a football on the 9SX!

Good luck kajer. It does seen like a solid ride for someone and hopefully we get a new Bueller around here Sorry to see you go, any plans on another bike in the future?

No bike plans for the future; Maybe a project car I can feel better about neglecting than a perfectly good bike.

In it's current condition, needing a fork service, oil change, and rear tire installed (rear tire included). Let's go with $3500. I'd ask higher, if the front forks didn't need work.

This will include my bin of stock parts, cover, and the various cables and locks I have.

No DMV appointment required. Title is clean. Bike is up to date on registration. I'd mail in the release of liability and title owner transfer, and you get a nice bike.

I'm making it easy for you :-D

Just appeared on craigslist - $3300 for a 2009 XB12SS (black) with 33K miles and what looks like fully stock.

Warning labels, stock fork reflectors, tail piece and all.

    delete:---Price drop: Now $3000---

scrap that - I'm going to change the oil, replace fork seals/oil, change the rear tire, and air filter.

I have time to spare, and maybe I'll re-list in the spring.
