Nice work Cody looks good
Bam! Shes got a tail again! Also cleaned the throttle body, found the velocity stack to be improperly installed with spring clamp missing aswell, and cleaned and oiled the k&n. Ordered bar end mirrors, taillight, and a ecm cable today too. 20190202_150724.jpg
^^ thanks!
I haven't made much progress lately. Still waiting on my buddy to finish my forks. I did want to add a little advice to the newbs and folks with buell troubles in general. Upon replacing the rails I made sure to remove all paint from and clean the grounding points, battery cables, clean the paint off where the rails attach to the main frame, and do the added engine (coil bracket) to battery ground wire. Police your grounds fellas! No easier or cheaper buell maintenance!
Moving along still, fluids, adjustments, and tps reset to go. Can't wait for warm weather!20190216_140514.jpg
Cody, Looking very nice you brought it back to life !!!!!!
Just finished PM ing u john. Yup that belt worked swell. Everything tight now. I spent about 2 hours on the header. 400, 600, 1000, 2000, 3000 grit then mothers polish... it doesn't look perfect in person, but a damn sight better than it did and @ 10 ft or in a pic it looks awesome!
No obvious difference in the old to new belt other than what I mentioned about its thickness @the base of the teeth so, I guess that and stretch must have been enough? It had to be on the cusp of snapping I guess?
Wow
That's amazing. Great Job !!
