    XB12R seat latch weld

    Hey all,

The garage broke the seat latch by not hooking the seat correctly (seat was resting on top the latch bridge, bent the bridge and snapped a weld). Now I need to get it re-welded. Can someone please advise what materials the seat subframe and the latch 'bridge' are made from? Just some basic info so I can find the right sort of welder.

Bonus points if someone knows a good welder in the Milton Keynes area

    Ta!

Pic of what's broken would be beneficial.

Aluminum. Clean it (remove the paint/powder coat) and weld it. Probably 5356 filler would be best, 4043 would work in a pinch.
