    2003 XB9S Footpeg spring issue

I've looked everywhere for a how to on installing these pesky springs. I got the correct springs from St Paul's. But I can't figure out how they go in!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I installed lower foot pegs on mine.
It was not that bad, and I swear it was way easier than that video makes it look.
I did not use need nose pliers to do it

Always take pics before you dismantle something if possible, and do one side first always and you can then refer to the other side if you forget how things get re-installed.

The dang thing came with no footpeg springs in it. Buyer beware I guess.... I've just been looking for a trick to this and the good 'ol interweb isn't helping out much. I have pictures of how they are supposed to go in. It's just the trick of compressing the odd spring to load up in the footpeg. I was just hoping someone was going to be like... " Oh ya it's as easy as this...." haha

I'm pretty sure it's similar to this,

    This is my 07SS,

The Ully looks the same but it's in a darker part of the garage and the spring is black, so it's harder to see in a picture.

Get a beer. Get the stuff lined up close by hand, stick a smaller screwdriver or punch up from the bottom and use it to line up the holes as you drop the pin in from the top, slowly backing out the screwdriver/punch as you go. Finish beer.
