COMPLETE XB fuel pump service kit-any board member interest???

I'm posting this up to get a feel for board member interest. have mentioned this several times on here but as these XB's age i'm seeing the fuel pump assemblies now failing at an alarming rate and there are only 12 complete pump assemblies left in the parts system @ $379 each dealer retail. within a few months they'll probably be gone and after checking with the factory i'm told they will not be relisted. it has become exhausting for me ordering in individual parts and shipping same so am thinking about building a COMPLETE XB fuel pump service/rebuild kit which would include all of the below. this will NOT be Chinese garbage but US/Jap spec parts including OEM factory parts. do NOT hold me to a price but will probably be in the range of about 1/2 the cost of a complete new pump assembly and if done correctly will precisely mimic new pump quality and longevity. respond if interested and i'll get moving on this project and start to assemble these kits. freight would be just a few bucks US....$35 or so to most overseas locales.

FULL REBUILD KIT WOULD BE AS FOLLOWS:
    HOUSING O-RING KIT
    SUCTION FILTER SOCK
    PUMP MOTOR
    PUMP MOTOR-TO-HOUSING O-RING KIT
    INTERNAL FUEL FLOW FLEX LINE
    INTERNAL CLAMPS
    PRESSURE SIDE OUTLET FILTER
PRESSURE SIDE OUTLET FILTER BUSHING KIT
    FUEL SENSOR ASSEMBLY
REGULATOR(2010 REGULATOR WOULD BE EXTRA COST)

Sounds like a great deal. And something I'd definitely buy if I had to do any fuel pump work.

why is the 2010 reg more?
I'm on my 3rd pump module.. On one module the flex hose disintegrated. A rebuild would be nice, I'm interested as well.

...don't forget fittings to hook up a fuel pressure gauge...

That’s a great idea and a great price for all those parts!
    John, I’d definitely be interested!

I’m still on my original pump and at almost 50k it’s starting to make me nervous

Thank you for even thinking about doing this.

    No problem lunatic!
    You’re the man
AND Hey, I’ll help out with this in the only way I can...

When I pull my pump I plan on making my own puller tool to remove the pump from the frame. Won’t be anything fancy but will work. Once I’m done I’ll send it to anyone who needs it, FREE! Just PM an address and consider it done.

I know the tool isn’t absolutely necessary but I marred up my frame a bit the last time I pulled my pump(wiring fix) and don’t want to do that again.
Also, I have a welder that I love to use WHENEVER I GET THE CHANCE!

Well, this is a timely post. My buddy has an 05 XB12R with a Low Level Fuel light that never goes out. I've fixed this once before on my 06 Uly. Thinking the usual suspects, sensor and/or chaffed wire, is the problem. Either way the pump needs pulling and since we'll have the pump pulled might as well replace the sensor, filter and o-rings.

So, Lunatic, do you have the parts I need in stock. I'll order ASAP if you're ready.

    Hey, no prob
I like contributing to the community with more than my keyboard antics whenever I can.
It won’t be till next weekend that I have a chance to fab a puller tool.
Don’t expect too much! However, it will be functional.
