ECMdroid.
Pulling what's left of my hair out trying to figure out how to shuffle my files around so I can use them to burn in a new file. I have a file download but can't figure out how to move it to the EPROM folder. Help please and there's a whiskey in it for you.

There are detailed instructions in text and video form on Buelltooth.com
Bummer is, they can only get so close because it is whatever your device is that dictates where to put the file to be used by ECMDroid. Typically a ECMDROID/DATA/EEPROM sort of location.
Do you have File Manager on your device?

I'm using a Samsung tablet and it has file manager. Later today, after honey do's I'll get back at it.

I've read the tutorials 1000 times. Doesn't translate. I'm pc illiterate. My issue is moving the file from a download to the EEPROM folder.

Thanks for the link. My issue isn't that I can't find the file, its how to move it to the same folder as my saved file so I can burn it to the ECM. I'm sure it's a simple task once I learn how. You would be amazed how long it took me to upload a pic to the old (free) 'Photobucket'.

From the beginning:
Go to your e-mail and download the file.
Then, in File Manager, go to the "downloads" folder, it will be there.
From there, open whatever option you have to "move" the file. Maybe press and hold it? maybe there's a menu up top? depends on your device.
Once you select it to move it, go to:
Internal memory (sometimes called internal storage)/Android/data/org.ecmdroid/files/eeprom and put it there (hit OK).
Then, when you go into ECMDroid, go to the menu and hit Eeprom editor, then the three little dots on the upper right and choose "load"
The file you just put in will be there, select it, and the ECM type, then you can "Burn" it to the ECM.
*As long as you already have chosen "Enable ECM burning" in the settings section of ECMDroid
Hope that helps!
