I'm selling my Buell. Sad day. Anyhow here's my listing for it:

This is the Special Duty version. Maintained, always inside, etc.

Nice, too bad you have to sell but I'm sure your aware of that. I always thought the PoPo models had extra lights and a siren, plus other stuff. Just curious, with the exception of the Madstad wind screen, what is the difference between your Ully and my Ully ?

We are all patiently waiting for John to chime in and educate us.
LOL. well then Josh...since you asked:
137 built
all had the "special duty" decal on airbox cover
standard side cases narrower than standard Ulysses side cases
taller windscreen than the Ulysses
came stock prepped and wired for the "lights and siren" emergency response kit optional package
slightly longer travel suspension....6.5 inches front and 6.4 inches rear as i recall
produced from early august/2008 to near the end of Buell production
i "think" only offered in white or black...as i recall
4th and 5th digits of VIN will read DB which is unique to the police model
they were very nice bikes that sold extremely poorly due to serious engine over-heating problems when used for municipal slow-moving police duty...plus they couldn't compete with the H-D "lease a police bike for $1 per year" that was also offered to qualifying agencies at the same time.
and yes sir...i never ever comment about "pricing" on here but yours is probably priced a tad high.
It has light mount brackets and wiring but no lights. I think the original windscreen was different (taller, but still not tall enough) as well as the seat height and luggage. I'm not sure what else was changed. I'm going to lower the price because I want to sell it and apparently I'm asking too much!
Btw, I'm sure you've heard this but that windscreen changed the bike. It went from noisy and buffeting on the highway to quiet and enjoyable. It is a fantastic upgrade you might want to consider for yours.
Thanks for the info John.
I have the same bike and the cases work fine for extended touring, even two-up. Just be sure to limit the top case contents to 11 lbs. with a passenger aboard or the front end gets squirrel-ly. I'll be riding mine to Bozeman Memorial day weekend to visit my brother.
