100% sure the leak is found. I pulled the primary cover and well well, the starter bolts wern't even close to even finger tight. This thing must vibrate like hell. My question is should I replace the gasket or just re-torque. A bit of oil shouldn't hurt the gasket. Pulling the starter might require 3 hands and be a real pain because the bolt towards the rear can't be removed which could actually turn out to be a good thing. It's squeaky clean inside though so clutch wear is at a minimum.
You don't need to remove that bolt out of the hole past the gear. Just take the other one out first
I'd just tighten it and see what happens? Maybe order a gasket to keep on the shelf next time you're looking for something to do?
