    Old guy with a Buell

I just bought a 2001 Blast on Monday and am excited to get rolling on it, I got it on Kijiji for $400 CDN but it does need work. I've been down with a summer cold so I haven't been able to work on it yet. I do hope to get to it this week as I'm starting to feel much better. I also know there will be people out there hating me for chopping it but I intend to build a rigid Blast sort of like a nostalgia look. I'll post pics as I go. I'll also have lots of questions while I build it so you've been warned.

You can’t be that old if you’re turning a blast into a rigid.

    Not old

    Just silly

If it was an XB, I'd be upset, but a blast, this sounds cool.

BTW, there are a bunch of us who are not so young. I'm officially half a decade this year and I think I am one of the younger guys.
My Lightning Bolt makes me feel like I'm 30 though.

Please turn this into a cool project thread with lots of pictures of your progress and welcome to the forum.
