I keep one of these in the STT:
    https://www.facebook.com/BeltMasterLink/

Never had to use it, but I don't want to carry a whole spare belt for 30K miles of 'maybe' if I can just limp to a hotel with that thing and Amazon a new one for the morning.

Ummm...... As soon as that hits the belt tensioner or belt guards on your Buell, it will cause damage and probably lock up the rear wheel

I understand how this is supposed to work but im trying to figure out how this would keep the belt on the correct track, some people do seem to like it..

It would clear the belt guards (if I ran them) and I've already planned on flattening the ears if I need it. Remember we're talking limping to a hotel, not drag racing, LOL.

Harley also sells miniature versions of belts as spares as well if that's yer jam. Seems easier to pack than a whole spare, but priced H-D silly at over $100.
