Just use the rear bung
So this happened today... Header flange bolts backed off, and then part of the pipe snapped at the welds.

I have a stock muffler and want to upgrade my pipe.
Because I need to rotate the engine, I figured to consider a full exhaust system. I came across the ForceWinder -- anybody have experience with these? Past posts on the forum reference them cracking, although they weren't posted by the owners, nor were their pics of proof.
My other option is to buy a set of used/new headers and buy a slip-on for a combo with an existing map. I've seen brand new headers at St. Paul HD but it has 2 bungs for O2 sensors... will this work on my bike? (2009 xb12scg).
What do you think I should do?

Not sure on the differences but I have a spare 9 header. Would it choke a 12? I never thought about a 9 header on a 12.
Anybody know if 2009 has a different exhaust header flange? St. Paul HD has the part explicitly saying 2004-2008 XBs.
Will this fit my 09 xb12scg? https://st-paul-harley-davidson-buel...2b0cb560&_ss=r
Yes, it will fit. Thicker than the originals, but I believe those are the current replacement parts.
I'd search for a full Micron Exhaust if this happened to mine and I did not already have the Race Exhaust.
Maybe see what this guy would like for it
