Good one Cooter. Yeah I'm usually packing something that can be cooked with hot water or in the can^^^^^^ Beans, ramen, coffee, etc. for a few days then it's back to civ for a nice jucy steak and a drink or 3
Dantroop hasn't learned the pine cone trick yet, maybe teabag can show him how it's done.

LOL NJ.
Just remember to open the can of beans BEFORE you put it over the fire
Car camping. not always by water. Havent done any motorcycle camping...but it seems even more minimalist. https://ridebdr.com/wabdr/
But the fire heats and opens the can for you when its done heating up.
Wow, that looks like a fun ride!
NJ the "pine cone trick" I'm not that much of rugged out-doorsman for that one! LOL
rb. I want to do one of those BRDR one of these days. Is there a place they call the western alps somewhere in Washington state?
Pine cones are super flammable kindling, even in Washington Unless NJ is talking about using them for TP Hahaha
Pine cones are softer in one direction....
I want to try the route on a bike. That would be fun.
dantroop, not sure about the western alps. I swear I have heard that here before. Maybe the northern cascades?
