    Good one Cooter. Yeah I'm usually packing something that can be cooked with hot water or in the can^^^^^^ Beans, ramen, coffee, etc. for a few days then it's back to civ for a nice jucy steak and a drink or 3

    rb. I want to do one of those BRDR one of these days. Is there a place they call the western alps somewhere in Washington state?

    Pine cones are super flammable kindling, even in Washington Unless NJ is talking about using them for TP Hahaha

    Pine cones are softer in one direction....

    I want to try the route on a bike. That would be fun.
    dantroop, not sure about the western alps. I swear I have heard that here before. Maybe the northern cascades?
