Well this weekend, the XB9SX is running again after 14 years, I put 10 miles on it and no problems ! I cleaned the tank using both methods provided here just to be safe, and what took the most time was making sure all the water and cleaner was out of the lower right side of the tank........John "lunaticfringe" thank you for the new fuel pump works like a charm !! I will post pics of the bike after I get the 14 years of dust off.............

Just after this pic, I relocated the speedo to the side, for an even lower profile

and a 1200C I resurrected from a flood victim. MAN, what a PITA to get it clean and right. I even painted it myself!

    I know, right????

    Flat bars = stock

Speedo = actually an analog tach with digital speedo, but stock

    Chopped tail = stock.

Low mirrors = stock, but flipped with 48 mounting nuts

    Wheels are stock as well.

The only mod I’m missing is upgrading the rear shocks to Fox.
