    Loose rear caliper

So I was inspecting my rear brakes and noticed the caliper had some play where the bolts run through it. Went to tighten the bolts, and they are tight. I'm going to pull it off and try to figure out what's going on, but was wondering if there is a common issue i am missing here, or if anyone has a schematic of the mounting hardware so I can see if the PO forgot a washer or something. Rear brake is weak, but I'm able to lock it up if i really step on it, which sounds pretty par for the course. Obviously the caliper being loose is not normal, though.

The stock rear caliper should be a single piston unit, which relies on the caliper to slide back and forth on bolt in slide pins to move the pad on the opposite side. There will be a little looseness in the assembly.

This is fairly common in inexpensive calipers in cars and motorcycles.

Here is a short video that explains it.
