Right near there is the Painted Cave. A Chumash Indian site from the 1600's at least.
and a legit road back down the mountain. I got to do my signature electric bike impression by coasting downhill for a few miles
To Santa Barbara!
Not a lot of miles from my place, but it was the first long-ish ride for Bubbles. She wants to do more M/C touring so I thought it would be a good start.
It's her home town so I let her lead and we had 4 days of fun! Stayed right on State street so we could walk to fun and she picked out some really great roads and sights to see during the day.
On to the pics!
Went to Knapps Castle. It used to be a party place for the locals, but there building a mansion there now
But this would be your view in the morning

And touristy sights that brought back many memories of a young girl selling ice cream and surfing the summers away.
We rode PCH the whole way there and back (you/re forced on a short stint on the 101).
Next stop, Chuckwalla Raceway!
Looking good so far. Keep em coming!
You are THE MAN! Looks like lots of fun. Happy 2020! What kind of bulbs are those in the CityX? Is that an XB9? Did I mention that you are THE MAN!
Nice views, looks like great weather.
Thanks guys! I want to start sharing pics of my rides because jealousy fuels my ego. LOL
Hey 'Cruza! I put the stock front end back on and LED bulbs in stock housings of my XB-12STT to replace the crappy E-bay 6" single headlight that was failing for now. They're OK and bright, but a bit blown out (not a nice pattern). I have a nice 7" single light I want to try next but I want to clean up the electrics in front first.
Those are the translucent black plastics on it from an XB-9sx and I like 'em! I was messing around an put some tiny LEDs in the airbox
