    XB9R, original development images

Hey guys, I'm brand new to your forum but wanted to share a couple images I have up on my website from my days working for Buell, 1999-2004-ish. I was one of two designers at the time so I did everything from 2D sketches to 3D CAD, Color & Graphics. The images you see include Erik Buell taking a fully functional Buell XB prototype for it's maiden voyage. Perhaps a little known piece of trivia, this concept was launched on 9/11. A very sad day but this bike is proof that Americans prevail in spite of madness.

    Wow! Cool info and backstory.

It would be cool to hear more about potential ideas and features that may have been proposed, but never made it to production.

Pretty cool stuff. Any other prototype photos? Perhaps of turbo bikes or anything.

Hey guys, glad you liked! Here's a few Graphics for the Blast & X1 that never made it into production. I'll have to do some digging to find some more cool images for you guys. You will notice the clay images I shared, previously, was actually showing the "B" side of the XB9S prototype, meaning, that side never made it into production. I actually really liked that side but the "A" side, which was the chosen side, was preferred by EB so that went into production.
