You should look into ECM Spy
Check the fan fuse?
Buellboy are you just grounding the sensor so that the ECM thinks that the bike is at full temp or what.
Here is a way to check it.
KEY MUST BE IN THE KOEO (key on engine off) position
First check at the fan for power. If no power check fuse.. if fuse is ok wiring between Fuse Block and Fan is at fault. If ok here is the long way to check it.....
If you disconnect the sensor and ground the wire that feeds back to the ECM. If the fan turns on when you do that the sensor is at fault if it does not turn on there is more problems.
If that does not work go to the ECM where the temp sensor input is... Ground the wire at the ECM.. same thing if it turns on the wiring between the sensor and the ECM is the problem...
If the fan still does not turn on ground the wire that feeds from the ECM to the Fan. If the fan turns on with that the ECM is at fault...
Still does not turn on ground the fan at the Fan connector. If it turns on the issue is the wiring between the ECM and the Fan...
Still does not turn on Fan is at fault...

thank you I grounded the sensor wire with the key on and the fan came on i will test more and let you know the results. thank you team XB
