Did a rear fender trim on my XB12Ss. On the Ss the rear fender and belt guard are just ridiculously big! I didn’t want the typical short useless one, so I decided to modify the original.

I cut off the belt guard and swapped it out with one from an R. Much more discrete but still looks factory. I didn’t shorten the original but I got rid of the “boxy” look. Just enough to clean it up but maintain it’s functionality.

I may trim it some more, but for now it’s much more pleasing to the eye. Next, modify the front sprocket cover and lower belt guard.

Thanks. My OCD alarm kept going off and I had to do something about it. Far from perfect but at least now it’s acceptable.

Cut the front sprocket cover and added the T-Rex Racing case sliders. I gave it a final touch with Old Glory sticker on the gas cap from Custom Buell service. Perfect for celebrating Independence Day.

Took her out for a spin to celebrate the 4th of July.
