XB voltmeter with a twist!
As Buellers, we can agree that Xb's should have come with a voltmeter or at least battery light. The mod is simple and been done enough times to not re-hash it here.
But I'm going to anyway
The process is the same, take apart the dash, dremel clearance, install gauge...

BUT a long time ago on e-bay I found these:

Ok TPEHAK, how about posting up a link? And a pic of the side buttons.
The Celsius reading is not an big deal, as I will just use it for reference to tell how hot things are overall. Because when the manual calls out a temp, where are they actually taking that reading from??

A link for what?
and I'll get side pics when I'm damn well ready!!
I would think the engine gets its temp signal from the TEMPERATURE SENSOR in the cylinder head Of course unless I AM WRONG!!!! and someone will be by shortly to CORRECT ME BY YELLING out of context and off-point.

The temp sensor is just a switch that grounds out. Iirc you can ground that wire and the ecm will kick the fan on.
Wow, I did that all in caps and the forum converted it to mixed case.

Where you got gauge. All the ones I’ve found are way too big.

NO! WRONG!
(still funny!)
The temp sensor reads actual engine temp from the cylinder head sensor to tell the engine how hot it is for everything from cold start, fan on/off temp to 'parade mode'. Thats why you can set a different temp digitally for the fan to turn on or off inside the ECM under ECM parameters. It's the ECM that sends the (-) signal to the fan relay and incidentally also why the fan is the only thing that runs when you hook up your Wal-mart battery and hook it up backwards

Ahh! a link to the gauge... I get it now. Duh, sorry.
I don't have that. I got these a long time ago and if I go down that wormhole, I'll just get a (*F) gauge.
But since you asked, I have an extra one. I ship it to ya for free, PM your address
