    Cooter,

Thank you for that amazing write-up! I like the 1st-to-2nd trick (while at a stop) trick to test the system. Pretty hard to tell if anythings happening at speed & high RPM!

If it EVER stops raining I'll take 'er out and get it dialed-in.

    Thanks agian,

    Dan

I know you're kidding, but man! I either get crap for giving a correct answer, concisely how it applies to the question...

or I get crap for a "wall of text"

    Cooter can't win

I read it slowly, using my best radio voice, and your cassette tape is on the way 34:19. I KNOW you have a cassette deck in your van, down by the river

So, I'm still dialing my BuellTooth QS in. My first attempt had the magnet-to-sensor too close, too sensitive, so it wasn't consistent...sometimes it wouldn't kill, other time it would. Not cool. I backed it off 1/8-1/4 turn and see it's much more consistent. I am finding that it works best at high RPM (for me I only take to 5k) which can be a little scary, it pops the front tire off the ground which I'm totally not used to! Super fun but makes me a bit worried if this ignition cuts off a bit too long it could REALLY pull a turtle! I'm going to continue dialing this thing in tomorrow!

My main reason for getting this was to reduce 1st-to-2nd crunch at mid-to-high RMP range which it isn't effecting much, at this point. I'll keep dialing it in but I'm thinking I need further TLC to the primary chain, perhaps. I realize the underlying systems must be in shape before I can expect added glory.

...but at the end of the day, all I can say for sure is THIS XB9S IS FUN AS H#LL!!!! Love this bike

If your 1-2 shift is crunchy even using the clutch, a QS will never make that better
