    Just 55 years ?

Turntables are coming back due to picking up less clicks and pops on the new records.

No, Diamond stylus on Boron cantilever. 55 years, correct. That's when my father let me in his tool box. I was about 13. Click & pops are most likely caused from dirt in the grooves or static. New records aren't any better than old as a matter of fact QC has gone downhill since the 60's due to high demand and fewer pressing plants + corporate greed.

I've been to Jack Whites place in Nashville a couple times. They have their own pressing machine that they use to record the sessions, and even a very old carnival booth you can have your very own record pressed!

    That's my speed... 33 1/3
