I have had my 2008 XB12Scg for a few weeks and the Remus Revolusion front strap has snapped and scratched a patch on the chin fairing too :(
Any body know where i can get these straps in the UK and if the Remus ones are different to the standard ones?

I had to use 2 hose clamps as a temporary fix while I waited for the strap from Buell - a combo of a long and a short one. I tried to hide the tightening screws under the chin fairing. Kind of looked like crap but I got scared of cracking a header after reading some of the stories from board members.
Sorry I don't have an answer for you Steve, but if you're going to ride in the meantime, 2 hose clamps will do the job.
