    Reporting back.

    Set to stock recommended settings for preload, rebound, and compression damping.

    Rear shock didn’t have any preload previously! Setting it to 3 for my weight made a big difference.

    Also, rebound and compression were stiffened up — turn in response is much better.

    I haven’t measured my sag yet to dial in preload but will do it and ask my wife to help haha.

    Zip tie on fork tube goes to about 20-25mm from the bottom of the fork tube... seems like excessive travel. What do you guys think?

    If you watch Dave Moss' videos, I think you'll be surprised to see what he calls good.

    There's a spec for fork travel and you'll have to take a look at what it is.
