Burn it out with a torch, like one would do when replacing MK3 lower control arm bushings.

Yeah this works quite well. Beware, the smell is...well it's burning rubber!

I have sent an email to the engineering department at the original manufacturers asking if the inserts are used on anything else and if not would they release the specs/blueprint and any copyright ect. Or how many do I need to buy to have a run made there. As for removal.
Bend or grind the staked portion of the insert to the inside .
Remove the rubber (yeah didn’t want to say it but burn it out)
Then the outside shell looks to be two pieces removed those and if we have a new “original “ bushing press in and ride off into the sunset.

So so nice!! Thank you to whomever stepped up! So many possibilities with that milled aluminum. My anodizing buddies would be able to make that any color imaginable.

Twin has them also. For some small parts, they have been shipping via DHL which is pretty quick, considering its coming from The Netherlands. Martin over there is extremely helpful as well.

my son has been working on one, 3D printed the housing and looking at different rubbers to fit the job and hold up over time while making it possible to replace at home when needed. He's a machinist...
