the vid below will give you visual idea of how they appear if any active. i believe this method also reveals stored historical codes but not positive. but it works quite well once you understand the sequence.
if the bike is operating normally in a fashion you're accustomed to...then in all likelihood fault code #16
you failed to mention the YEAR of your XB...but if it's 2003-2007...and you have access to a PC or laptop...i can send you over my CD of ECM-SPY and the patch cable to connect the device to your XB diagnostic plug, which is under the seat near the battery. then run full diagnostics...do appropriate repairs...clear all historicals...and of course return the gizmos to me.
