Hi all, I am selling my 2006 Ulysses. I have had it for almost 10 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. However, my budget is just too tight right now.
This bike has roughly 40,000 miles, includes hard luggage, top & sides.
I recently moved to the east coast, located in Arlington, VA.
I'm actually just a wussy fair weather weekend / afternoon road runner, chasing the curves in our hills and coastline here in NorCal. Haven't ever done more than 150 miles in a day. My current toys don't lend themselves well to long distance cruising.
Now if this bike were up in the Pacific NW or even the wilds of Arizona, I'd maybe consider a moto road trip.
Don't plan, don't even pack. Pick a a place you want to see thats close, but too far to round trip in one day. Ride till you want to stop, eat at a bar, talk to strangers, find a little hotel room, get a good breakfast the next morning, then decide if you want to go home. Yes? Go home. No? Repeat.
Come on fellas, I am in the PNW and want to sell my '09 Ulysses. 28,760 on mine. Hard bags, spare belt, new fuel pump and new brake lever--running great, doesn't burn oil, decent Avons trail masters.
we have twisties, rain and all the fun stuff.
Hey Opto, I was just in Seattle / Anacortes / Whidbey and San Juan Islands last week. It's a beautiful corner of the world when it's not grey and freezing.
Good thing I didn't come across your bike, or I would have been sorely tempted! Alas, I have no more space in the garage...
