    Quckshifter for Firebolt

    Is the quick shifter a good thing or bad think fir a 2008 firebolt?

    I think the better question is, if the quick shifter is a good or bad thing for YOU. I don’t think the bike cares either way

    I just didn’t know if it’s harder mechanically on the bike to have one or not, ie does having one save the clutch or is having one harder on the bike shifting because you are not actually disengaging the clutch.

    I think I would get used to it if I had one unless you have some advice as far as draw backs? Do most people who can utilize a quick shifter, utilize it or shift conveniently.

    There is a guy on here named Cooter who puts a quickshifter on everything. Even his floor mounted dimmer switch. He’s out helping some other Bueller (aka drinking all their beer) but should be back soon. He is a jerk.
