Well, did not encounter any BK/W colored wire, assuming that is Black/White striped on Pin 7 of the diagram? So I do not think there is a sensor wire(s) going to the front fly screen that I have seen? I do have a hard copy of the service manual, with diagrams but did not need them. Mostly focused on repairing broken wires, about 5, and several wires that had insulation rubbed off as well as green wires at the connectors cleaned mostly and replaced some with terminals. The rest was mechanical cable routing, strain relieve, braided sheathing, added grounding posts, and removing a lot of electrical tape, etc. Whatever I can help with jrad235, recommend finding some space for taking off the forks, fly screen, headlights & horn bracket. Really needed the room to crimp, solder, and heat shrink properly and used a lift so I could sit up or stand if needed. This was a real PIA and took some time. Will try to post some and take more Pics.

I hear ya on that, mine was a huge pain as well, as the Ulysses used different colored wires for certain functions that the bikes shared. The black/white wire you probably wont see going up to the front, but some of the various sensors on the motorcycle show a blk/white ground wire, so you should be able to measure continuity between the terminal 7 and the some of the sensors. IIRC the bank angle sensor uses that black/white wire for a ground. I'd have to look at the diagrams to see the others, but it sounds like you nailed it, nonetheless.

My bike is missing the front modules, so until I find replacements, I have nowhere to mount the speedo, headlight, windscreen, etc. Cooter thinks the "no headlight" look is cool, but he is a jerk.

My bike is also in two halves right now, with the front wheel, forks, tank/frame, subframe, seat on one side of the garage, and the engine, swingarm, rear wheel on the other.

Until I get a replacement temp sensor to for the rear head, I am holding putting it back together. What happened to my temp sensor? Cooter likely threw it in the trash.... because he is a jerk.

I hid the temp sensor until you re-stock your fridge with beer.

I'd buy a $700 project bike that needs them,

Then buy another $900 project bike to take them off,

    then.....

you see where this is going?

First time uploading images here, not sure why they are rotating?

Redone the headlight harness last night. Driving home from work yesterday and the low beam wires wire melted together and shorted blowing a fuse. The only 2 connectors I did not re-do, so of course they would fail. This bike has the headlight mod so the orange and yellow are swapped further up in the harness.

Here is the modified harness bracket at the steering head with the 1 inch pvc pipe strap that has been trimmed and heated to angle back slightly to clear the fork leg. that is an original bracket with the front middle cut out and straightened so the bundle can move left and right. There is 3 bundles under the bracket, the smaller bundle is 3 Ground Wires connected to the battery tray replacing the Ring terminals at the steering head. The big bundle is split into 2 forward of the bracket.

Wow it still looks pretty rat nesty under the fly screen, but here is a before pic after all the electrical tape is removed. I did not use any electrical tape, used black fusion tape which has no sticky glue if you need to have a redo just used an exacto knive to remove.

It's a BuellXB.co thing. I don't know how to fix it on this site, but if you use a free photo hosting site like Flickr, all you need to do is post the IMG code. You can pics size, resolution, filters, and rotation.

It's good for when you want to post a clear picture. Like when 34:19 waves at you from across the ferry.
