Such a strange post. Turned into a bit of a tourettes style rant at the end but began with a question.

Just put a brand new Cherry Bomb OEM windshield and EB 25th Ann. badge on it.

Thanks. It looks a heckuva lot better than when I got it but not pristine OEM by a good bit. So far I've learned lacquering is not simply 'point & spray'. Too much and it runs, too little and it ends up rough.
A friend of mine who runs a body shop is polishing up my plastics (front fender, airbox cover, front fairing, tail fairing, and lower chin spoiler) for me and buffing out all the scratches. He doesn't want any money to do it but I want to pay him for the work. What do you think is a fair price?
a 6-pack/hour is the usual friend rate. after 4 hours add a pizza.
Yeah that sounds about right. Or like my buddy did when I put an entire front clip on his car (after removing it from the parts car)... kept the beer stocked the whole time, a little lunch. He even bought me a new battery tender (not an expensive one) bcuz I needed one. Just show your appreciation, we dont expect you to pay us what we'd have to charge a customer or anything near that.
