    If you want to kill a squirrel by throwing it off a cliff, the cliff would have to be 4800 miles high. That would give it time to starve to death, because squirrels can survive terminal velocity.

    Just thought I'd share that advise.

    I've already inspected the cover for the typical cracking. It looks fine to me. An yes squirrels use their tails for free falling without sustaining damage

    That's hilarious and amazing. I learn something new from this forum every day.

    Though the squirrel loses weight as it starves, so it's surface area/mass ratio improves with time. Better make that 5000 miles.
    Then again, the poor squirrel would flash freeze in the vacuum of space first. Poor bugger.
