    Lightening xb12s 2007 maybe 8

    My Buell has been sitting in a corner for a couple of years. Got it out - replaced the battery and filled half tank with new gas but she will not fire. The bike always started right up so I was surprised it didn't even kick.
    Suggestions?

    2007 and 2008 are very different bikes. It will say on your reg, your title, and the right front of the frame where there VIN is.

    "will not fire"
    Do you mean:
    1) Cranks slow or not at all (Cheap Battery or battery charge issue)
    or
    2) Cranks over quickly and won't start (Fuel or ignition issue). Replace the plugs too, I'm sure they're fouled now.

    Sat a couple of YEARS and with ZERO checking anything, it won't fire right away? Dang these Buell's are such a POS.
