How to get access to rear blinkers?

I need to fix the mounting for my turn signals but I'll be darned if I can figure out how to access the area. The "trunk" liner doesn't seem to want to come out. Do I have to remove the whole tail section? I have Lightech FRE925NER sequential signals which look really cool but are kind of iffy on mounting.

IIRC the rear plastic fairing will come off after removing the seats and 4 other T27 bolts. I’ve only had 1125’s which have slightly different subframes than a Firebolt, but the same plastic fairing.
