Had a good afternoon on the XB

After a 5 or 6 year absence I was able to take a Sunday afternoon ride with my son and a friend. The Buell (and I) made it about 150 miles today. The more I ride the bike the more I like it.

At the end of the ride my friend and I switched bikes. Going from the XB to a VTX1800 was not fun. Even though my last few bikes have been metric cruisers I couldn’t wait to get off the thing. I think my buddy felt the same about the Buell.

Where I live the roads are all flat and pretty straight. We ride over to the Mohican State Park area to find some twisty roads. There are a number of places in the area that rent canoes and pick up you up a few miles down the river later in the day.

It was a convenient parking spot to stop.

You are an odd fellow and live in some sort of alternate universe. I like you more and more.
