Contrary to false rumors...the Ss and the Stt seats interchange. Variety of options including new and used ones...Baldwin...Corbin. There are several reasonably priced Ss and Stt seats offered on Ebay right now. That's the route i'd go.

They didn't make very many of the STT (1755 total)

But you're in luck. The Ss/STT seat pans are the same and will interchange as Barrett so kindly posted for you. The STT seat is so flat it's a VERY easy job to cover it with a flat piece of material. Thats why you won't find a "cover" it's because theres no stitching in it, so no need to make one. If your seat pan is OK, go see an upholstery shop or better yet get the satisfaction of doing it yourself!

Yes, I would very much like the satisfaction you speak of... would you know where I can get the correct material for the cover?

The internet should provide what you need. Amazon, E-bay, whatever you like.
Marine vinyl is perfect. It's waterproof, won't fade, and UV protected.

As I’m going to make it look as good as possible I was hoping to match the material as closely as possible, maybe even look into copying the single seater emblem stamped into the rear.

Super happy it worked for you Fychan13! Felt great right?

SteveBB, if you want something that OE and specific maybe searching for a used one would be better. I don't know what it takes to stamp that logo.

Yes sir! As you said takes some time but much easier when you have the right parts and a guide. Now managed to get hold of a SS touring seat which is needing to be recovered. Some sewing skills needed for that though 🤞
