2008 xb12ss low miles great shape

I have a 2008 xb12ss I am thinking of selling it has about 6000 miles on it. Great shape, never been down, custom lowered seat with gel (brand new), It has been covered and in my car port always. Any thoughts on pricing? I was thinking 6k.

Pricing would depend on many factors you didn't mention and a lot of clear, close-up pictures. You know your bike. We don't.
All stock, besides the "custom lowered seat"?
    Need anything? A service?
Oil change? Primary oil change? Brake fluid flush? Brake pads? Fork service? Fork seals? Belt? Fuel pump? Wheel bearings? Tires? (What kind? Date codes?), Recent Battery?
A cover is nice, but its still outdoors. Sun damage? Water damage? Rodent damage? Does it freeze in winter where you live?
    WHERE is it?
    What color is it?

Or is it all stock and never been maintained? 6000 miles is not a bragging point, it's dangerous. Is it a 13 year old bike thats ridden less than 460 miles a year so it sits a LOT and rots. It needs every bit of resurrection service before it's safe to ride, unless you've done that? We don't know, you didn't say.

Answering ALL those questions will help us give "thoughts on pricing". $6K is a premium price, it should be a well-maintained, premium bike.

Yeah, the "where is it?" Is a big deal. Sitting in a carport in AZ is one thing, but a bike that's sat in a carport in Nebraska.... I wouldn't even look twice at it.

Bay area California :-) So very little elemental issues. Probably will need an oil change, all stock (except the seat), Brakes are good, belt is good, could use new tires (they are good but have sat for more then a year), I get it serviced every other year, it is always on a trickle charger, Could use a good polishing on the wheels (some pitting, very little).

I am close to the Bay area, is it possible to see the bike?

I'd buy it if it was closer to LA. Good luck with selling!
