    WTB Here Blue Wheels

Hello, I'm looking for a pair of hero blue rims/wheels that I plan to put on my 1125. I found the front available for purchase online via St. Pauls and ebay but haven't had luck on the rear. I have yet to purchase new because I figured I'd try the used market first. Probably a long shot but anyone selling a set? Or worst case just the rear and I can buy the front new? I'm located in Columbus, OH. Listing is cross posted on badweb. Thanks!

Careful getting them from separate sources. There were large variations in color, besides age and wear. It's a very hard color to duplicate.

I just did a small service to a GORGEOUS Hero Blue '09 City-X. Bought in Tacoma and ridden to LA (THATS how to 'transport' your new bike BTW) 6k miles on it and looked straight off the dealer showroom, it still even had the dealer stock sticker on the frame! Clean clean clean.

This one will be OK. The owner is treating her right by replacing the tires (still were OE) and riding it often.

Save the hassle and buy a cheap used set of gold or silver rims then have them Powdercoated. The hero blue rims are the worst set of rims next to the red rims. Ive had about 7 or 8 sets from low mileage to high and none of them were perfect my scg came with new blue rims and after the second tire change, They chipped and they peeled around the lip. So I ended up putting pinstripes to cover the chips then just had them powdercoated to match my plastics.

I found a NOS set, so I'm no longer searching! We'll see how they hold up long term but I love the color. It's hard to capture the color well on camera but they match perfectly.
