I want to like that it's happening. Hell, I want to love it. I REALLY REALLY do. But it's getting worse

Frankly hard to watch. And impossible to listen to.

Not only is that NOT a "New Buell", anyone who thinks it is, is delusional. It was outdated when new and unchanged 8 years later is a lifetime in the hyper sports world. Add a 6-axis IMU, ride modes, ride-by-wire, wheelie control, slide control, etc, and MAYBE they have a chance to have an 'Exciting new product, blah blah'.

Barrett is 100% right **** music and no info are a tease from 10 years ago, which is apro-po for that old bike I guess. I don't see how this will end in any way other than a stain on Erik Buells legacy and one more thing for people at a 'bike night' to get the story wrong about.

I'm curious how a decade old engine is going to fair with Euro 5 regulations, or are they just going to ignore every market outside the US?

That is a very good point. Euro 5 focuses a LOT on engine noise, not just exhaust noise and the EBR is LOUD. A little better than a 1125 IMO, but the valve train and clutch basket are well... not 'refined' sounding.

    AMERICA!!!!!

    WHAAAT?? A BEAR IS MA??

    NO!! I SAID AMERICA!!!!

    A TEAR IS RAW???

NO! I SAID FREEDOM, MOTHA ****A!!

The story where a bolt shears off the clutch basket at redline and leaves the engine case at such a velocity to land on freaking MARS, only to be discovered by the Curiosity rover and confused as a sign of intelligent life, forever changing science and the course of human history?

If you think similar regulations wont be making their way here in the near future then perhaps you should see if Buell is hiring.
