Hey 'Cruza the "pump rating" isn't the pressure output The regulator dictates that.
You're in good hands with John on the case!

The AC Delco EP274 is only rated at 45psi. The Airtex is rated 80-90psi. Th AC Delco is actually a Walbro. But if the AC Delco only goes to 45 psi, doesn't that mean that it won't be high enough for the 49-50 that is normal?

The Airttrex is 80-90 psi. Is that too high for the regulator?

    Which would you pick?

    Thanks for the help Shaughn!

I just came across this Carter pump. Rated at minimum 51 psi. Anyone have any experience with Carter pumps?

    Levan: See the below.

1-Got your mails...got your payment...shipping out in the morning and USPS shipping info sent.
2-The 12V pump motor must be capable of approx 50PSI minimum. It's the regulator that sets the pre-determined factory desired pressure in PSI.
3-Carter carb parts and pumps are excellent.
4-The 12V pump motor part numbers i originally listed on here are correct.
5-Send me the OD of the inlet port on whatever motor you choose to use and I'll send you an OEM sock strainer to fit.

That should about wrap this up.
Excited for Squidbuellie to chime in by months' end with "OK....I'll bite. Didn't have the time to school everyone on pump necessities but do now so my $0.02. I have approx. 700 assorted pumps here in various states of disrepair.....and................................. .................................................. .....................
