Unable to decipher your trouble-shooting or failure-scenario jibberish....but simple to narrow down and resolve with simple answer. When this thing shuts off...is it as though the kill switch has been placed to the OFF position...or does it give the impression of running out of fuel? As in a more gentler shut-down scenario? Answer defines solution which is typically unique to these R models. And the cause was never a failing CPS. Hoping you retained your original.

Ok problem started last summer. I did spray with starter fluid and ran for second. Had more time in Dec and checked fuel pressure it was 41psi. Pulled fuel pump and one of the 3 plastic clips that holds the washer to keep pressure regulator in had broken off so as not holding pressure regulator tight. replaced housing and put fuel pump back in and fuel pressure was 50 psi.Runs great this year till temp gets 85degrees out. When engine dies seems more like out of gas. After it sits (cools off) for about a hr runs great again

Again. Unrelated, and something it's been doing the whole time you've owned it.
Sorry buddy, the honest truth is that you don't even have enough experience to communicate clearly or follow instructions to solve your problem. You're in over your head. Everyone knows it, except you. Even IF you were to get lucky enough and swap in the right part, it will cost you (and me) more time, money, and frustration than it's worth.
It's time for you to pay a professional mechanic for help to solve your simple issue. Or go to school. It can be a rewarding career.
