I powder coated mine and have had a
no issues.PXL_20210704_164225873.jpg
It will depend on the paint, not the process. I've had great luck with regular gloss black. Most regular glosses should have a little stiction to them and fine for pegs, but there are some, like Anthracite, that are real slippy and repel dust well too.
Anodise will wear better in this case.
I powdercoated 2 sets of pegs. One came from some hobo in an El Camino who had bent one "I dont know how that could have happened". Whatever.
I also powdercoated a set of stock drop pegs.
Damn hobos.

I went to a car painter and this is the results.
I´ll hope it will hold
Regular paint? I'm curious to know how long it lasts, check your mileage and let us know please
And it's Vagabond to you, Sir!
He can't leave until he panhandles for gas from every single pump there.
