    Daytona Twin tuner

    Hi

My 08 XB9SX has got a Twin tuner mounted and Buell race can.
Can anyone tell me the best settings on each position?

Settings are between 03 and 07, but in position 7 the setting is 17. That looks not right?

Haven’t found anything about basic settings yet. The insructions says that there are a guide with settings, but says nothing about values on each setting.

Well you're not gonna like this, but here's the facts.

Throw it away. It can never be as good as what you can do with even the most basic tuning that you can even do for free on a Buell. Thats not IMO... it's a fact. Even if you have zero skill, and zero effort, you can get a wonderfully pre-programmed ECM from https://idspd.com/xcart/buell-products.html that will make a stock engined Buell run very well.

Using a programmed ECM allows literally hundreds of parameters that have been dyno tested and proven to work for power and drivability. A piggyback tuner literally cannot do that.

ANY universal piggy back type of tuner like that is majorly limited to extending pulse width of the injectors or 'tricking' the ECM with the O2 sensor input to do the same thing. It is hitting a well researched and engineered stock tune with a big fat sledgehammer and hoping for the best. The whole entire fuel injection industry is WELL past this piggy back tuner thing from the 90's.

    So... what are your goals?

    (A) Want a little more power, you bought a pipe, the internet says it 'EPA.... runs lean', etc?

    (B) Nothing, just bored and have some cash to spend on the bike?

    (C) The bike doesn't 'run quite good enough'?

    (D) You are committed to using this junk no matter what answer you get from the people you asked?

    Well thats good news

As long as the bike is in good running order now, it will be perfectly fine with the "Buell Race Muffler". Congrats, those are getting harder to find
It is simply an empty stock can with an extra outlet and will match the "Buell Race Tune" that comes on the IDS ECM perfectly because that is exactly what it was made for.

Cheap. Easy. Done. and they do sound amazing
