Intake connector?

Hello

I just picked a 2006 Ulysses and while doing the breather reroute I noticed this fitting on the right side of the intake about even with the butterfly. Is there supposed to be a hose connected to it or should it be capped? It's open air now and the bike runs fine.

Cap it with a 3/16" vacuum plug. It is a vacuum port to operate emissions equipment on Calif and Euro spec XB's.

Thanks, assumed it was something for vac testing. It's my first injected bike.
