    Xcel trackday

So, after a long period of heckling from CoOter and Bubbles, I finally did my first trackday, and it was a Blast. No pun intended... well sort of, but it was waaay better than a Blast.

The first session was the slowest most terrifying time I have ever had on a motorcycle.
The second session was much better, but I was still noobin' along.
Third.. getting better as I am starting to get comfortable on the bike, learn the race lines and building confidence.
The last session I was really starting to gel with the bike and feeling confident. However, I did blow the same turn (twice in a row no less) and wound up going off track. Luckily, I was able to save it both times, and resume the session.

All in all, it was a great time. Thank you CoOter (and Bubbles) for introducing me to yet another expensive, dangerous hobby that I'm loving. What ever happened to coin collecting?

The next track day is Mar 19, and I will definitely be there on my R3. I need to get some more time/experience under my belt to get out to Chuckwalla with Booter and Cubbles, but I am looking forward to that too. Its an amazing world with a lot of really cool people. Thank you again.... (i need to go before I start tearing up)

Ya sure you're old and brittle, but still trying new things and taking chances in order to expand his enjoyment in a hobby we all love so much. Congrats bro! It's WAAAY more fun and way safer than any street riding.

So happy you had fun and damn shame we couldn't have been there to share it. Welcome to the addiction!

I may be old and brittle (thats what she said), but I ain't giving up without a try.

The trackday got pushed back to 3/26, a little disappointed, but still excited.

I like to think it doesn't, but it likely still does.

I am soooo looking forward to the next track day!

And with that said, I am signing up for another track day on 3/5.

Damn you CoOter! At least from a drug dealer, the first taste is free.

This is getting expensive. What the f*ck.

I'm getting ready to sign up for my 5th track day, and I'm going to go cheer on Bubbles and heckle CoOter next weekend at Atessa. I guess I'm back to being their paddock bitch.

This used to be true, until I made an extension for my kickstand.

At my last trackday, one of the coaches advised me that I am leaning my bike excessively in the turns and need to work on my body positioning.

'Addiction' may be a funny parody, but that's until you find out it's very, very, real.

Thank you! I'm having a lot of fun doing this.
