Well I bought a new one (project that is) a Redneck blast with the new title as an 06 special construction. When I figure out how to post a pic again I will start the project Mike Lowery is donating a big bore jug to the cause. I haven’t decided on what primary yet. XB9 with XB wheels and suspension or XB12 and the donor Blast rolling stock. Looking to make 50 ish HP at the wheel at 350 lbs wet me all of 5’6” bare foot and 155 to 160 lbs it should be enough to have a nice cruse on instead of all my other bikes the wife thinks look like dirt bikes. No farkles no cheome lack of sissy bat to lean back on. Ect. Thank goodness she doesn’t have the login to see what I say here.

Cooter if you ever stop by when you’re visiting your mom (since she is 20 minutes away) please don’t tell on me.

i'm confused? Are you building a Blast based Redneck Engineering chopper (or whatever)? Or are you putting a Blast engine in an XB frame?

Are you still looking for a Ulysses rear shock?

Yes still looking for another xt rear shock and I forgot how I posted pictures on here before. I bought a Redneck Blast Off Craigslist half finished I am going to finish. I’m looking for a front wheel in magnesium or gold for an xb or a rear in red to make a good set.

I may have a XT (silver) shock for sale pretty soon.
Do you have a link to the thread you were doing comparisons to?

    Hey cvc,

Did you know the X and the XT use different shocks, but I think they are both silver? I just found this out last night.

Anyways, I have your name on my rear shock as soon as my replacement arrives. Let me know if you are still interested in it. It for an XT, not an X.

Mike lowary is sending me a Firebolt/Lightning shock. The longer hose should work well for my application.

I’d love to just throw and Ohlins or Penske on it, but I’m C group. And to make it worse, my ego thinks I should be in B group. The course workers think differently….
