Intake Gasket Orientation

I pulled out the throttle body and have the intake gaskets off of it however when pulling it off it seems like the guy had the front one in a different order than the back. What i mean by that is the front one had the gasket first on the throttle body and then the metal plate going against the engine this seems wrong to me and i believe the back was in the proper orientation since it had the plate and then the seal against the engine which way is correct?

Metal retainer bracket goes onto TB port...then the intake seal.

thank you apparently the guy before me was a dumbass and installed it backwards so i just had a massive intake leak
