Anything on the primary side(internal parts) will do just fine. Primary chains, etc.

Come on guys, I was side swiped on the hwy and luckily for me the guy had insurance.
Inspector came out and said if there is ANYTHING wrong with the bikes engine, we'll just go ahead and "total" it out for you.
What do you expect me to do? It was his UNSPOKEN suggestion.
I'm trying to get it totaled out so I can rebuy it back from the insurance company.

Careful with that one. Some ins companies won't do that unless it is of a certain age. I tried to buy mine back from State Farm and they said it had to be 8 years old. They were glad to tell me which salvage yard it went to but then it became too expensive to be worth it. I can understand wanting it to be totalled, I wouldn't want a wrecked and rebuilt bike because it will never be the same unless it was really just cosmetic.I'm trying to get it totaled out so I can rebuy it back from the insurance company
If there was any frame damage at all it should be totalled. Too much labor involved in replacing the frame and the beauty of an XB is that any dent in the frame cannot be repaired.
No, this is from a car rental company. Was already advised that I would be able to buy it back from the person assigned to my claim.
No frame, engine (other than the primary cover) damages of anykind.
