Too bad we got speeding tickets on the way back home :(
So I rode from the bay area to Reno last weekend with dave_xb12r. We ended up stopping at the harley dealer up there to get some earl. While we were there, I asked about getting the latest download on my '09 lightning long.
It was totally worth the few hours wait...
I ended up ordering the LED tail light from the 2010 lightning, and the right side scoop from the 2010 uly comfort kit. I will post a how-to writeup about how to wire in the new LED light to the 2009 and older housing. Maybe a RSS install too.
While we rode, dave_xb12r and I test rode some 1125r's together. I couldn't stop lugging the bike, I constantly had to pay attention to the RPM and tell myself that I had 4000 more rpm to work with. When I revved the bike, oh boy did that sucker move! They were going to let dave thake the 1125CR out, but both models had dead batteries. :(
I finally got my bike back from service later that afternoon, and didn't pay a dime for the new download. Oh man I love the new map!!! My bike isn't out of breath when I stop riding anymore. It feels like it funs so much cooler now. Anyway...

I want to see this take lost of pics!!!!Maybe a RSS install too
I also just put the 2010 RRS on my 09SS
Will the new map help that much w/o the complete kit?

looks like i'll be doing a gauge cluster LED install too...
kajer, you said in another post that the new download makes your fan run all the time. is this correct? just curious:)
most of the time, i usually hear it spin down as im pulling up to a stop... so far it seems to help a lot when idling at a stop light
