Has any one got any info on a good set of Driving Lights. The clocks have just gone back and i now see just how bad the Uly lights are.
Has any one fitted any?

I put some mini 55 watt lights on and they work great.
I attached them to the underside of the front bilnkers with black platic lock ties and wired them to the accesory line. I had to up the fuse but they adjuste easy and are very secure. I suppose one day I might attach them wiith something more permenant, but..nah. These work great
Finally dove in and nailed my light setup. Wired hi and lo beam mod, added driving lights. I have yet to put in my topcase brakelights, but that can wait for a rainy day. I was inspired by this post:
The Whole ShebangA! Fuses, HIDS, .... I was not this thorough, but I am very happy with the results.
Overall, satisfied with the look, just need to test on the road. Lets see how many times I get flashed...

Lights off, straight on shot.
Right side light. Mounted the lights to a front screw on my Barkbuster Storm handguards (excellent, by the way). I was planning on mounting on top of the old handguard mounts, but the left light bumped into the left mirror, so no go.

Switch mount. The fuse is inline, with a lit switch mounted under the seat on the left side (in the plastic). I used a pocket tool with a saw blade, a candle, and sheer luck to get this thing in there right. Oh, the world for a Dremel!

Sorry I don't have install guide and pics, but suffice it to say that it was super easy. 2 hours for me from start to finish, including mounting switch. And yes, I will be powdercoating those mounting brackets or something, I know they are stupid-looking!

i put the same fog lights (pictured above) on my 9. HID's cost teh same and am more pleased with teh light quality and appearance of teh bike. but still the same light pattern.
i do miss being able to adjust the light pattern on the fly for turns(hieght) or woods/rural (wide)

mine are pilot brand came off ebay around 30 bucks there mounted on my front fairing mines a bolt of course!
I love to see cheap driving light implementations. I've not seen that location before! I find that my setup lights the cockpit a bit too much for me, I'm going to have to put them somwhere lower or build some enclosures or hoods for them. I recall a member named deathray (I think) that has a pretty rad (read: bright) setup as well. Either here or badweb (I think).

Night driving is so much better now.
I ride down Ortega Highway in Orange County/Riverside Counties and it gets pitch black at night. Before the Denalis it seemed like I was driving into an abyss.
They weren't cheap but they work great.
have you guys had any electrical issues with the extra driving lights drawing too much power?
i have 2x 50wat 12volt halogen driving lights.
