    I've been riding since I was 7, rode a BSA 125, then BSA 650, Norton 750, Honda 150,450, 750 also Kawasaki 750. Now ride xb12r & Yamaha 750. I turned 61 last may, and still think I am 18.

got back into riding at 38 (sport bikes in early 20's but I was an idiot, sold last bike for parts ;)) 2nd time around, I bought a WGII, year later moved onto an FXDF...just bought an 09 ss, riding both and love each for different reasons. (42) is the short answer for the Buell..still want more bikes.. S1W?

    I'm 23, and my Buell is my 4th bike. First 3 were Hondas, 2 VFR's and a CB 750

My dad had an rd350 back in the 70s when he was in the marine corps. He loved the thing to death. Just some simple porting work and a good exhaust and you're knocking on the door of 80hp. He's actually looking to get rid of his harley and get a suzuki GT380 right now. Hes old of age, but young at heart and it's kind of sad because his age is showing, but his head doesn't wanna keep up. I told him to get a buell like mine (he's 59) and he said he loves my bike, but just wouldn't ever feel comfortable on one. He was also tossing around the idea of putting an xb9 or xb12 engine in his harley, but he's looking like he wants to just sell it because we have a 78 trans am and a 65 GTO convertible that we're restoring at the moment. At least the money will go to something good. I just turned 21 two months ago and i'm not looking to sell me XB9 any time soon. I'm actually looking at getting some stickier rubber and better riding gear and maybe hittin' up some track days. My small frame (5'8 165lbs) helps the bike fit me like a glove.

I'm 44 and just bought my 09 Lightning XB12Scg this summer as my very first bike. Being late to the party I decided to skip the whole 'starter bike' idea and go straight for the main event. That said, the fantastic handling of the Lightning I'm sure has been a benefit to a new rider like me.
I'd recommend a Buell to ANY rider, new/experienced, young/old, black/white/other, male/female, republican/democrat. No vegans though. Meat-eaters only. You have to draw a line somewhere. :D

I'm about to be 30 (January) and I have owned my '09 XB9SX since January 2010. Love it. It's dead right now, but I plan for a little resurrection within the next few months. Need to stop driving my truck :(
My Butterfly (wife) loves to ride, but our little one is not quite old enough yet (15 months).
You know you are a Bueller for life when your wife and 4 month old son are sittin' on your bike and look awesome!

Unfortunately our Buell is dead right now, but we are planning a resurrection within the next month or so. Hopefully my Buell will be even better than before (July of this year he was stolen, then the cops recovered him in September!). But, you know you are a Bueller for life when your wife and son are looking awesome on your ride...
